Root help w/ manual update

i have amon recovery so the instructions stickied are not working. i have frf50 i tried to flash from zip but i get no signature verification error??

rooted tmo. i did wipe and fresh install of frf50 and still get the

E: no signature (144files)
E: Verficiation failed

You have the update.zip in your ROOT folder?

/sdcard/

and renamed it Update.zip (make sure its not update.zip.zip)

Yes. RA's recovery uses a different set of keys for verification, so the 'official' OTA's will not load. You will need to find a repacked version over at XDA in order to flash.

No. It's the ROM that is your problem, it is the recovery firmware (a small OS that you boot into in order to flash a ROM). Have a read through this thread:

It describes how to revert your recovery image back to a stock one, but even better, provides a link to a re-packaged FRF91 image that will work with your updated recovery.
