Help Help!! Water behind screen

I have water behind my screen near the bottom left. I believe it came in through the headphones port. The phone still turns on. Some parts of screen are slow to respond, i.e. You have to press the area a few times for it to work.

I've tried rice for about 36hrs and it's not working at all! There is absolutely no change.

Any suggestions?

Try damprid. Its an easily obtainable desiccant. Try putting http://www.homedepot.com/p/DampRid-...-Refillable-Moisture-Absorber-FG01K/100392067 canister in a large ziplock with phone on top of canister (battery door off and battery out of course and seal and leave it.
