Help with 3g usage

Hi
I just purchased a htc hero for my wife.
She is on Telus in Canada with a 500 meg data monthly plan.
I installed the 3G Watchdog.
My wife says she is using data even though she is only using wifi.
I would appreciate any tips for turning off notifications or other ideas.

Turn off your data completly if you dint want to use data at all, the phone. Will use wifi over 3g, if it has an option, I use netsentry, it splits wifi and 3g usage very well, and you can set alarm levels.
