Help with a samsung android galaxy player

My new samsung android galaxy player just turned off itself and now I cannot turn it back on, I tried everything I could. Is there something specific that I should be doing? Please help I just bought it a couple months ago.-=

I'm not actually familiar with the device, but it sounds like it could very well be faulty. If you just bought it a couple of months ago, should be under warranty for repair or replacement by Samsung.
 
Will the device power up while plugged into the wall charger? If not it may have died.

If this was my device I would just get a replacement under it's warranty.
