Help with android Tablet! PLEASE!

Hello this is my first post and i have a question.

i have a SoftwinerEvb Tablet but i cannot seem to connect to the internet as it it stuck on obtaining IP address! here is a list of my problems:

1. Cant connect to Internet(obtaining Ip address loop)
2. Cant install CWM Recovery(error: "/system/bin/sh: rm: not found")
3. Cant use ADB to connect(error: " server is out of date. failed to start daemon * error: protocol fault (no status)")
4. Cant restore(get android laying down with exclamation mark(see a screen for a split second before!))
5. Cant install any apps

Here are my tablet specs:

Android Version: 4.0.4
BaseBand Version:1.5
kernal version: 3.0.8+ android3@Linux #80
Build #:nuclear_evb-eng 4.0.4 IMM76D 20121108

PLEASE HELP i have searched the internet for a few days now and found nothing!

any help would be appreciated!

This sounds like a no-name cheapo thing that came from China? I'd suggest that the ROM is probably corrupted, due to poor quality. Probably would be best to return it as defective, for replacement or refund.

Don't feel bad or alone: these forums are FULL of well-intended Android enthusiasts who saved a little money and bought a cheap knock-off Android tablet... only to open a box full of nightmares. No support, no development for it (including recovery), and hardly anything online about their specific model.

MikeDT lives there. He sees this stuff regularly. As do we. And there's really nothing we can do to help, except forward his advice. Send it back if you can, get a refund if possible, and stick with known tablet brands with solid support.
