Help Help with battery

[Android Question]

I just needed to know if anyone knows what could be the problem with a phone battery that is dying extremely fast and by that I mean 20% in 10 minutes. I have no idea what it could b ive tried switching chargers and things like that anyone know what could b the problem and how to fix it?

also post some screenshots of your battery stats (in settings) for possible clues

• If a single app appears there, it will be clear what to investigate.
• If not a single app, or something like "android system" are the big user, then try
  • boot into safemode to see if the problem goes away
  • clear cache in recovery and see if the problem goes away.

20% in 10 minutes, that's a serious loss and definitely not right. Besides what phone have you actually got there, how old is it, and how old is the battery?
