Help with Beautiful Widgets

It's not a huge deal, but my Beautiful Widgets home widget has a large black bar in the background. It covers the whole home panel, and makes it kinda ugly... is there any way to get rid of it? I've never seen it in pictures from reviews on Beautiful Widgets...

And I've tried multiple different clock skins; they show up with every single one of them ):

I guess the dimensions of the screenshot are too large to attach, so instead of making it sideways, I just uploaded it to Photobucket: http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/zz37/iiBenxD/BeautifulWidgets.png

Click on the cloud (weather) and with the local weather displayed click menu>configure

If you scroll all the way to the bottom you have options to hide the background or set transparency.
 
This won't Change the Black but are you using the "Beautiful Smaller Home Weather" widget? That will make it smaller.

That hides the clock theme's background too though. I want to keep the rounded background on the clock, but not the extra square that Beautiful Widgets insists on putting behind it.

I tried that, and it's still ugly. The one in the picture is the full sized one. Using the smaller widget will just resize the black box behind it to the smaller size, though it's still visible.

Sure it will, but it will effect all the background, not just the black box. If the OP wants just to get rid of the box, try the clock skin KeoFlipLightNaked.

I tried looking for KeoFlipLightNaked, and while scrolling through I found another theme that looked like it didn't use a background, so I tried applying it. For some weird reason, it didn't change the theme, but it got rid of the black box, so now it's fixed lol. Thanks for the help (:
