Help with Better Keyboard!

So before the 2.1 update my better keyboard worked perfectly....now after installing the update and then re-installing everything it doesn't work? I'm not sure why...I have enable better keyboard checked and it still won't work. Anybody have any ideas as to why? Does better keyboard not work with the 2.1 update? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am very used to using the better keyboard over the standard one for the Eris.

My better keyboard is working fine with the new update. But, I did not have it prior to the update, I downloaded it a few days after

did you have to do something specific to get it to work?

nope, just DL'd from the market, then enabled it in the settings, and then long pressed a text box->input method->better keyboard. So yea nothing special. What exactly about it isn't working? Will it just not show up when you select a text box?
