Help with boot loop, Huawei ascend g300

Hi im new to this forum, this is my first post so i have probably put this in the wrong place.
I need help as fast as possible, im 14 have an unlocked Huawei ascend g300 that is stuck in a boot loop, apart from being unlocked and i think it is rooted, it is default rom. I have read online about fixing the boot loop problem by restoring it to default, i have also read that you can still access the files on the phone via the pc how do i do that, I have data on my phone that i would like to save and not delete is there a way to access text messages and other data via files on the pc, or can i some how recover my texts if i factory default the data. Or is their a way to fix the boot loop with out factory defaulting it.

thanks for the reply, i fear i may have to factory reset my phone, but i will try the soft resets like you mentioned

sadly i had to go with the full factory reset, thanks for the suggestions though
