Help with Chinese tablet - it sucks

I just received a MID android tablet from Daily Steals that says it's model PC10021. Basically, it's useless. The browser freezer, the apps market sucks, and it's so crappy I can't even download a decent mobile browser into it.

Does anyone have a clue where to start to make this thing a useful piece of technology and not a waste of my money?

If at all possible, send it back. Most Chinese knock offs are junk, and come with second rate app stores. You may be able to improve it a little. I suggest getting the original Galaxy Tab if your looking for a budget device.

Yeh most of them are like that. Welcome to the China Pad Owners Club.

I just remembered, I saw these peeps a couple of years ago at the Seg Electronics Mall in Shenzhen. Peddling some crappy netbooks with a really horrid Chinese Linux distro on them called Linpus. Evidently their Android tablets aren't any better.

Hello dancergurl. As you can see from the responses coming to you, the thing you are hoping for, a working device for your money, is pretty far down the list of options you have, and may not really be on the list at all with some of those Chinese devices. We see reports all over the forums about those things.

The suggestion to plea your case with the entity you purchased it from, in an effort to get a refund, may only yield a replacement, which will likely be of similar low quality.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" is a great, proven reliable small tab, and available at very low prices now that it's been out so long and newer models are on the market.
