Root help with CM9 alpha3

after im done installing the upgrade to CM9 and after i reboot it the boot animation say android in silver instead of the cm9 android and nothing ever happens after that ......help

Where did you get the installation files from and what steps did you take to flash it? What ROM did you have on your phone prior to flashing CM9?
