Help help with crashing

hi there i would be very grateful if someone could help me out please i got this phone started it up done the update all fine, thought phone has been working very well and had no complaints until i recorded something on my phone then left of thought nothing of it until someone wanted to c the video as i tried to replay it back to them i clicked it and it came up but then nothing at all happened the phone then crashed and restarted i tried again and the same happened, i then tried you tube the app loaded up fine i clicked on a random video that started loading then crashed and restarted agian, can anyone help on why this is happening many thanks

I'd try a factory reset first and if the problem persists then I'd send the phone back as it sounds faulty, shouldn't be doing that obviously.

hi thanks for the help i done a factory resset and still the same crashes on any media music or videos so have to send it back (what a pain), when i get new one i want to root it could u possibly explain what it does to me and the benefits of it and are there any risk? many thanks for the help
