help with data plan on galaxy fit...

hi all, im new here n this iz my first thread....so please pardon me if there is any mistake at my end .
I ve just recently got a galaxy fit... luv the phne xcpt for screen resolution. Anyway my question is that I am using a monthly data plan and keep background data sync off. But still the phone uses a data of 1 MB approx every hour or so by itself. Is there a way by which i can permanently stop phone to use data automatically???? Its not a problem currently but heaven forbid what will happen when im on roaming! anyone having any suggestions???

also im using some fonts using fontomiser SP... last time i downloaded a new font, phone freezed for some time. do you recommend using this app??

yes of course u can permanently stop ur data usage:

just follow:

settings->wireless and networks->mobile networks ->
den uncheck the use packet data option and also make sure data roaming button also unchecked.

thanks Manhesh for ur reply... of course im aware of this solution ... i wanted to know if there are any other settings from where we can do stop full auto sync instead of just stopping the data services...
