Help Help with ePad and Overdrive Media Console

Lurker
Hi, I was given an Andriod Dreambook for Christmas. I am have great difficulty in downloading books on to the e-book. I spoke to the librarian at the local library who helped me to download the overdrive app which tells me that it is compatible with android. When I try to download a book my library account tells me that I have successfully completed the download but I cannot find the book on the e-pad.
The cable I am using connects directly to the modem not to the computer. Can this be the problem?
Can anyone tell me how to download books as this was the main reason I was given the e-book?
Regards,

Welcome to the forums, sorry for your troubles!

I'm moving you over to our tablets forum to see if we can get you some help over there.

For those unfamiliar, the app in question is OverDrive Media Console - Android app on AppBrain

And the device is the Android Dreambook ePad, aka the ePad.

richangie - Don't dispair. That app is not the easiest to get around with, but with a little luck, the gang here will help sort this out in short order.
