Help help with galaxy europa.....please

i was doing an update to froyo,thought it had finished,but it had not.
now trying to do it again,but it tells me that the update is already stored on phone and do i want to carry on,i say yes but nothing happens.
i have already updated 2 SGS's to froyo with no problem.

also keep getting text memory full,so cant recieve texts.
have deleted messages(or so i think)
but still nothing

any help would be great.

i have tried the soft one,volume up power button.
but have paid apps on phone and dont want to lose them if i factory reset the phone

ahh right youl have to do the hard reset im afraid :/
my dad had to do that and it worked fine afterwards
