Help with getting angry birds to work please.

Installed it. Wouldn't get past load screen without crashing so I uninstalled it. Now if I try and install it again, I get a message saying the installation was unsuccessful. Anyone else getting this?
 
My phone (Evo) is not updating four apps, it started with the Battle Bears Beta not updating then I tried to install Angry Birds and it downloaded but did not install, then two more apps would not update. I tried restarting the phone, I pulled the battery out, and tried going over 3G and using the WiFis, and the apps still will not install. I really want both of those games so someone please give us help on what to do.

There's your problem. Sell the EVO. Get the Epic :p

In all seriousness... Rovio is having a lot of problems getting Angry Birds to work on evos right now. You'll have to wait until they fix it.
 
For evo and incredible users: Tap quickly on the screen with two fingers after launching the app, this should help you proceed into the main menu. It might take you a couple times but it will work eventually.
 
We can't even get the game onto our phones. Plus this isn't the only game not installing, checkers, tic tac toe, and Battle Bears aren't installing onto my phone.

Did you reboot the phone the first time it crashed? I did and it works lovely. There is a thread that already exist in the Captivate section that explains how to get it running on your phone without any rooting or hack.

I can't reboot and try again because the game wont install at all now. I have tried rebooting and reinstalling. Nothing works. I get installation unsuccessful every time. Does this happen a lot with apps and games, after an uninstall there are problems reinstalling?

And to the Samsung Epic guy- I'm perfectly happy with my Evo, Don't care for samsung devices and think sliders are lame. My two cents. :)

What I do on my vibrant is keep making a circle around the rovio splash screen and around the red bird, I have so far had no crashes getting into the main menu.
 
Running a Rooted Evo on CM6 and i installed the .apk fine. runs smoothe never crash and i beat the entire game. try installing it manually with the .apk

ugh, i had the same problem. it would crash on load screen most times. but if i kept retrying it would eventually work. managed to beat all of the levels....

anyway. now, this morning I got o install the update and it says installation unsuccessful. and it's also doing the same thing with fruit ninja. it's been driving me crazy all day. so i went so far as to do a factory reset. but, it still says installation unsuccessful for both apps.

so frustrating.

oh, I'm running stock unrooted froyo on an evo.

try installing 1 app at a time. wait till the app is downloaded and fully installed before trying to download the second app. I have been able to solve all of my install unsuccessful issue doing this, instead of batch install.

thanks. i tried that. i also tried clearing the cache and data (for the games, for the market, for anything i thought could be related). i tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them. i tried downloading the apk's and manually installing them. i even did a factory reset. none of it worked.

however I just got it working by unmounting the sd card and then installing them. i have no clue why that worked. neither app was installed to the sd card.

i have an unrooted froyo evo, and i was having the same problem with fruit ninja, and unmounting the SD card worked for me- thanks!

Unmounting the card worked for me too. I have an HTC Incredible.
 
My indredible has no issues with the game at all so far. Perhaps because I am rooted. Played the first 4 games on level 1. Great Game!
 
Does the game work on an HTC Aria? I haven't been able to even find it to download yet. Getjar says that there's not a version for the Aria. Haven't been able to find it on the appstore either.

I have an evo and i took out sd card downloaded angry birds again and installed it. reinserted the sd card and game worked fine. Then moved game to sd card. everything works great now
