Help with GS3 Notification Icon (Screenshots Included)

I've had my GS3 for a month now and today is the first day I've seen this icon appear (capital N with blue signal on the bottom left corner of the N). Not sure what it is, but I want to make sure it isn't using any extra data, or incurring any extra charges. Thanks in advance!
edit: I have tried searching all over the place but I can't seem to find an explanation for this icon anywhere.
