Help Help with hardware keyboard

every time I hit the "l" or "p" key and a few others my phone keeps on lunching apps.
Making the keyboard unusable. Anyone know of the setting that changes keyboard actions? It's kinda weird I was on msn talk all day with no issues then all the sudden the calendar was randomly launching.

Settings>Language and Keyboard, I think there are settings there for HW keyboard shortcuts...

Your search button is probably stuck or you're touching it accidentally. There are keyboard shortcuts just like on your computer that are controlled by your search button. For instance, search+L launches the calendar.

Thinking back I was looking at the keyboard and my thumb was resting right over the search key the way I was clutching the phone. That splains it. Thanks and I learned something new.

That helps me too so I can see what I was doin to myself I found out I was ever so slightly holding down on the search key while I was typing
