Welcome to the Android Forums!

To restore the original clock, long press on the clock currently on your home screen and move it to the trash can. Then long press on the now blank home screen, you'll get a dialog box to add to your home screen. You should see options like shortcuts and widgets. Under widgets you should be able to find the original HTC clock widget that was displayed on your screen.
