Help with installing pc drivers / rooting

Hi there

Been trying to root my Acer e320 (android 2.3.4)

Things like oneclickroot dont recognise the phone, although my PC does and I can view the memory card etc

I've downloaded and (I think!) installed the correct drivers. However when I look at the e320 in device manager, it states there are no drivers. When I try to install from device manager, I browse to where the drivers are, but it will not let me chose the ones I downloaded. Support via ACER website seems to have stopped for this model

Any advice hugely appreciated!

There seem to be a lot of sites on which the drivers are still available. (The device installs as a USB drive with no drivers, but to do anything other than transfer files, you need the drivers.)
