Root Help with Installing ROM!

Hi people,
well i have my phone rooted some time ago...
I wanted to change my rom to custom rom "FroYo Cream Sandwich ROM"...
I am a newbie in this and have no idea how to do it...

Also i heard that it will erase all my data from Phone as well as SD card... so is there any way to make back-up and all??

Please provide STEP-BY-STEP info on how to install a custom rom....

installation of a custom rom will not erase ur data in sd card.
it will erase all the data stored in ur phone memory, technically u will experience a new phone after the installation.

for installing any custom rom u hav to enter recovery mode by press and hold volume down key and power key simultaneously for few seconds

there u will get a menu in that u need to wipe dalvic cache
andselect option ' choose zip from sd card'
and select rom zip from sd card and hit yes.
and after installation reboot the phone and u r done.


one personal advice for u if u are looking for a good rom which has Better battery backup go for hybrid v3 by cool gautham

or if u need a highly themed rom froyo creamed sandwich is the best option, its ics themed, anyway good luck.
