Help with internal SD card!

I figured this is a problem with Android and not my Lenovo A1107

I copied mp4 files to a folder on the USB storage. Everything is fine, I can find them using the tab.

However once I replug the tab to the PC, the files are no longer available, despite the fact that they obviously exist (I can find them using ES explorer, and read them)

So how can I access the internal storage of my android tablet using USB connection with my PC?

Tl:dr I can move files to my tablet's storage but I can't see them/move them out again

When you connect the tab to the PC, can you see the MP4s on the PC? Android generally makes SD cards unavailable to the device while it's connected to a PC so you can access the Card's content on the PC.

No, I can't see the files on the PC but I can access them from the tab
