Help with LG Backup

fnf419

Lurker
Sooo...I have an LG Volt on Boost Mobile and i just flashed Candy Rom 3.2. Before I flashed I made a backup of my contacts, apps, ect with lg backup...does anyone know how I can restore them? I can't find a working lg backup program anywhere. Or maybe a way to extract or convert the .lbf file?Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Its been awhile but i had done something similar, backing up with a non custom rom packed system app on my old lg optimus elite & what I did was unpack the original stock rom & pulled the needed system apk. Not sure if it needed to be installed back to system or anything but i was able to retrieve my backed up data ..hope it helps & gl

I have my backup file in .lbf format but I cannot get LG Backup to install for the life of me...Ive been living w/o contacts since I flashed...I downloaded the stock ROM and pulled the apk file and followed many sets of instructions to install as a system app.
At this point I'd even be willing to go back to stock just so I can restore and backup properly with titanium except I'm not sure if I can without the stock zv5 radio of which I can't find a download of...does anyone know?

are your contacts not synced to your Google account
Lol...they are now...I ended up having to flash back to stock, syncing my contacts then restoring my candy backup...I was more interested in call logs and messages and such but it worked out...thanks for the help everyone
