Help with LG Spectrum

Hi, newbie here on the site, Im looking for help with my spectrum, want to know if its possible to change how you answer the phone.

How do you mean when you ask, how to change how you answer the phone?

Right now you have to 'slide up' but it usually takes multiple trys as the phone continues to ring, just wondered if I could make it slide side to side instead

I'm thinking that is built into the OS of the phone. Not sure if there is an "app for that" or not.
Perhaps someone else does know, or meander thru your phones forum
