Help with ms tnef on SGN

New to android, have tried hard researching the following 2 issues to no avail.
please help

1. cannot view excel in k-9 or stock email app. this is a bigpond account.
Can view it in g-mail but that is not my primary email.

2. in my bigpond account on k-9 and the stock app my inbox emails continue
to disappear when I load new messages or sync for new. I need to keep
these on my phone. Settings are 'not to delete'.

If I can fix these 2 probs I will be happy with the SGN.

You need Documents to Go, QuickOffice or similar app to view or edit Excel docs.

thanks ! I had downloaded office suite pro trial version, documents to go (free)

still cannot view excel in the email attachment. I can however view in gmail as I said.

Not sure why you still can't view Excel files. When you tap on the file it should either just open or, if you have more than one app installed that can open it, give you a choice of what to open it with. Docs to Go works well for me.
