Help With My New X10

Hey guys,
I just got an X10 the other day.
I was wondering if anyone could help me - I am having some problems.

Firstly I moved my contacts across from my old sim card. However, not all of them are listed in the phone book - some I have to go into an all contacts folder to find. How can I fix this?

Also, not all of my contacts are synching with facebook etc. How can I make the rest synch with facebook? They have their full names but they have not connected to their facebook accounts (they are my friends on facebook though).

Finally, when I plug it into my mac it does not find the device. when I plug it into my PC it finds the device but it doesn't allow me to open it.
EDIT: This is working with my PC now. However, when I open PC companion it says I need to install the update and when I press install update it says update failed and closes! It is, however, working on my mac to transfer files now too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

To find it on your PC...first plug in...then on the phone something will come up in the Notification bar at the top...drag down and click to Mount the phone on the PC....then you can view what on there.

As for contacts and syncing....have you setup google sync for syncing all contact information?

On the Contacts screen, click the left button on the phone (I call it the right click button....I think it is called the option button) and there is an option to import...I believe then it will join them all as one list.

Not sure about facebook contacts...havent done that...not sure if it has to do with how they entered their facebook information online or a privacy setting in facebook or what.

I'll chip in on the face book front...

Open up your phone contact and click edit on the person you want, then press the Menu button (bottom left hardware) and you will be given the option of Join. Select this and it will give you a list of possibilities, so if their names are similar it will be here and then just select. If its not on the short list there is an option for all friends/contacts and you can then scroll through and find the right one. I had this problem, some of my friends kids seem to have very strange facebook names!
