Help help with my samsung s3

i knocked my samsung off the sink into the loo yesterday, i imediately took it out, dried it and put in a bag of rice, today i took it out and everything works, i can text recieve emails etc but there is no sound, no music no keytones, not even the splashy water on the screen, i have put it back in the bag of rice but what i wondered will it all go back to normal does anyone think or should i just send to insurance company, its only 6 weeks old so really peeved about whats happpened.

any advice would be appreciated

Claim, what else did you get insurance for? I can't see the sound etc coming back it's probably fked it.


Don't take the beauty in water danger zones, reading this was a horrible vision:(
 
Depending on what insurance you have, you might be able to get a replacement phone for free, and have it overnighted to you. That's better than having some things not work -- things that you can't fix without voiding the warranty.
 
Your paying for the insurance for just this occasion. If the rice soak doesn't work claim it on the insurance.
