Help with new G1 user.

I recently bought a G1. It is a developer phone. It has the sign up to google account. I am with O2-UK does anyone know the APN settings so i can get the phone to receive o2s pay and go network. If not does anyone know a way to get into the phone without having to go through the sign in stage.

Try using WiFi. I borrowed my friends G1 for a sometime and used WiFi only and was able to set it up and use the market without a SIM card.

@gmplopez, you can't turn on wifi before you've signed in

@ste1164, do you have a data plan? I suggest calling your service provider and asking them for the apn settings

O2 are useless. Take a look in the Nexus 1 thread. I posted the settings I used in my G1 and then copied over to the N1.

I don't really know about the developer phone, but regular phones give you the choice to skip linking your phone to a Google account. I can just scroll down and choose skip. If you can't do that, flash a CM into your phone.
