Root Help with overclocking

okay. I need some serious help here. Ive tried overclocking a bunch of times. And i have failed every time. So i deciede to install the sense rom updated with built in over clock. Now my phone i stuck on the lg logo. and when i reflashed the rom im stuck on a lg boot loop/ i need help please. i just want to overclock.

hold vol down + home and power to get to recovery from phone off and then wipe al data.. wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache and try again.. either that or restore a previous backup

Did you follow step by step on how to flash the rom? Did you wipe all data? Toggle verification? Then flash it, sometimes the first boot can take up to ten minutes, how long did you wait b4 concluding you were stuck @ lg logo?
