help with reactivating a flashed evo3d

Hi i bought an evo 3d that was flashed over to boost, it has the pervious owners account on it so i confirmed it is a boost mobile account. problem is that when i go to about phone, phone identity i try to use the meid listed there, boost says it's invalid, not anuff digits, i tried useing the msl app i saw in the tread http://androidforums.com/boost-mobile/646633-reactivating-flashed-phone.html
but the phone is not rooted and said it needs to be to use that app.

If your looking at the MEID in the about phone menu you can input that into

android - whiterabbit.org

and it will tell you the esn you need to put into boosts website, though I thought you could put the meid into the boost website too. I will check on that.

you can try to update profile that should fix it, if it does not you may need to get the donor phone profile information from the person you bought the phone from.

You can also dial ##msl# and then enter all zeros for both mdn/msid. That will reboot the phone and make it reboot into ota. This will probably only work once or twice before the profile 0 password goes corrupt.
