Root Help with replacing system equalizer

Hey all,so im rocking DU right now because Im loving the 5.1,but really enjoyed the Viper Equalizer off of Bliss and Liquid vs the DSP Mgr..how would i go about replacing the DSP app on DU with Viper so it will be responsible for the whole Roms audio?(headset,blutooth etc)i feel like its more than just. uninstalling dsp ,and changing viper to a system app...thanks!!
 
Also i noticed w some apps it will give u a choice of DSP or Viper, after Viper is installed but even if you choose viper none of the settings have any effect on the sound so thats why i feel like im missing something after a few attempts, doing different things to make Viper the system default.

Viper is not compatible with du lollipop use poweramp that rocks
 
devilschild26,youve always been there for me bro, lol, thanks man, i was thinking it might be but wasn't sure.. Ive been a poweramp user since my first DROID, and am glad nowadays its alot easier to patch and keep it that way, seemed like a couple years ago it was more challenging.. And thanks Ill do that, im such a audio perfectionist i was wanting an equalizer on top of that, better than DSP, but hell i wouldn't be sad at all to change back to Bliss lol oh and its crazy but JetAudio is another awesome player that rivals Poweramp, and I feel like no other player has came close, check it out, thanks again!

Power amp gots that bass really shakes the hell out that trunk big difference
 
I know, right, its definitely the best for hitting those low bass notes, while at the same time, not being to quiet and not being to loud,making it sound like the speaker is blown lo, there's for sure no replacement for power amp

Even the back speakers sound great bass sounds just right
 
Okay so what if im on KK and wana change that system equalizer to viper? Uninstall system equalizer (Dsp), install viper, and thru like Titanium convert to system ap, then reboot ?

I'm running kitkat I don't like DSP or viper I'm using poweramp when I did use viper I used es files to delete DSP from the system but on lollipop DSP works very well I just use power amp for the car
 
Ok right o, love es, yea poweramp always in the car for sure, i tend to lean more towards poweramp and anything like viper on my house system.. The neighbors love it haha
 
Yes Sir! Rockin the DU..But I was really loving Gummy and Liquid,but decided to try 5.1 for awhile,I liked CM but have always been an AOKP guy so it would make sense that DU is where im at..

... On the contrary My friend, I do actually believe there's a compatible version of viper for 5.x.x .... Just give me a moment to get back to you on this.
I'm an addict of viper myself

Did you ever get that Viper for Lolli? I believe I have what you need if not. I'd just go ahead and post it but not sure about rules on that so I'd rather be safe than sorry. I can't afford to lose access to this forum lol.

Edit: Checked and I do have it if you still need.
 
Yes it's definitely a privilege to be able to be on here, I understand that, if not allowed maybe email me if I message u my email? I've tried to get everything set up and right but I'm missing something, or some step... Greatly appreciated you have no idea lol
