Root help with root!

so ive tried rooting the event with every method i could find. i used super one click and it says i am rooted but superuser wont request for root in my apps. it requested for root once and that was in the actual superuser app. then i tried titanium backup and it wouldnt request for access. so i guess im rooted but superuser wont ask for root access, i have even tried using more than one superuser app, ive tried unrooting and rerooting. nothings working! please help!

I followed the poot method in the guide mentioned in KJOHNS post and it went so easily tjat I couldn't believe that I actually done it.
