HELP with Spectrum Update!

I recently updated my spectrum to 2.3.6
My phone is unrooted but superuser is not installed. When I try to open Root&Recovery in the AllinOneSpectrum Package, I get this error:

Sounds like you did not extract the entire zip file. You can not just run the .bat inside as it requires other files to work properly.

i just checked my spectrum and already have the 2.3.6 installed. Did they come that way from lg?
