Help with tasker profiles

Hi to all,first post here looking for help
I own a galaxy tab3 3g with a known issue when using bt headset during calls....
(If anyone knows more about its solution please pm me)

After lot of search,i found out that the problem ixists when wifi is enabled and a call is received or made....
So I need profiles to do the following...
At first when a call is beeing made, i need the bt to turn on and automatically connect to my headset
Secondly wifi and data must be set off....

After the call ends bt should go off and wifi and data return to previous state....

Any help woulb be greatly appreciated

That shouldn't be too hard. Create a new profile: State, phone, call, any. Add a task to execute when the profile becomes active, you can set variables there that store your current Wifi and mobile data states. Choose variable names with at least one character in caps so that it's a global variabl, for example %Oldwifi and %Olddata. Also make the task turn on Bluetooth.

Next, add an exit task, this one will be executed when the profile is deactivated. Have it turn off Bluetooth and turn on Wifi and mobile data depending in the values of the aforementioned variables.
 
i think tasker will return WIFI and BT to its original state once the profile exits, anyway. I dont think you need those variables. I think all you need to do with this one is:

P1: state>phone>call>type:incoming
A1: net>bluetooth: on
A2: net>wifi: off
A3: net>mobile data: off

I dont think you need an exit task

I also think that i must put a "return to previous state" command....

Is there any other app like tasker that is friendlier to users like me?
 
Well i managed to setup what nyydysnasty said at first....but while my profile is enabled,on thw notification area says tasker-->no active profiles .....and nothing happen

It did work!i had to close and reopen tasker once!

But i have one tiny problem again....
The bt turns on...the settings screen, for choosing what to pair with ,comes on and i have to choose a device....
That takes too long....long enough for the caller to end his call...
I need the bt enabled and automatically,without me choosing,to pair with a selected device...my bt headset

Is this possible?
I tried a programm called btcall and did it...it enabled bt without poping up the settings screen...what would this command be?

Also...thing return to previous state without extra commands

Ok i downloaded this one too....should i do smthing through tasker in order to cooperate with the plugin?i cant test it right now but seems to connect when bt is on!

If the problem get solved with this it could help many people as there are lots of them with the same samsung prob
 
to access any tasker plugin, there's an action category for 'plugins'. you should see it there. Once you setup your profile and the action categories appear, click on 'plugin'/

again, there might be a command to do this yourself but I dont know what that is so I'll have to let one of the other tasker-pro's to chime in.
 
It works!
And 2 days now,i didnt have any of those frustrating mic problems!
The call starts,any wifi and data action stopes,bt comes on and with the help of this plugin it connects right after!i only need to wait a bit to connect....i miss 2 or 3 seconds at the start of the call...

Its perfect,thanks a lot....
 
Hi everyone,
Almost a month after i started using tasker and i must say that the frustrating problem with lots of galaxy phones and phablets is solved....
Tasker may sometimes turn its autotasking off,but other than that its very helpfull!

I d loved it more if the bt could connect 2 secs faster,but...its ok....im allready used to it!
