It seems whenever I turn on the portable hotspot/WiFi on my phone my 3g data green bars instantly turn gray. So I will start with full green data 3g then turn on tethering hotspot to connect with my nexus 7 and it turns to full gray bars. I am running jelly bean. Please let me know if there is something I can do.
