Root Help with themes please

[MartinS]

Hi,

I've rooted my phone yesterday and first tried the MoDaCo custom ROM and have now flashed the Cyanogen 5.0.6 ROM.

Firstly, I was surprised at how little you get in terms of extra features although I do like the Cyanogen trackball to wake function and the trackball colours working properly.

Anyway I have been looking at themes. I used CM Updater to install a theme - Black Ice. The only one it found???

I didn't like this very much so I've downloaded a Glass Tray theme and Metamorph. Metamorph seems to unpack it OK and goes into reboot, but nothing changes.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Don't forget, some of the features are accessed in the Spare Parts app....

A lot of the reason for rooting is speed.....Cyanogen is faster than Stock due the extra memory.....
