Help help with unrooted device

hello!

I had my Samsung Note II rooted. Then I installed MobileIron and it said I cannot use it because my device is rooted. Then I unrooted my device, but still MobileIron says that my device is rooted!

any help please?

I think that what @Mikestony told you above re. Knox is the answer since the unroot thread you cited above purportedly flashes you back to stock firmware.

Flashing you back to stock would (or should) have removed any traces of root from your /system partition.

The bottom of that thread indicates you could email them with questions...not sure how useful that might be or how responsive they might be.

I used this: http://thedroidguy.com/2013/07/how-to-unroot-samsung-galaxy-note-2-n7100-to-stock-firmware-67567

can you tell me please what to do to make my device not be rooted at all?

Your device will be pure stock, but,no resetting of the E-Fuse is possible.
I read a thread over @XDA to where you can send your device to someone who has a service that says they can reset the e-Fuse (Knox 0x0) but,I don't know if you're willing to go that route,or,if it's worth the expense.

Did you go into your Settings >> Application manager and do both 'Clear data' and 'Clear cache' for that MobileIron app? When you originally started it up as root it might have saved it's previous state, then when you unrooted your Note it just read its original settings.

Reading a little about Mobile Iron...if that app has something to do with security, which is related to Knox, and if the Knox e-fuse is tripped, perhaps the Mobile Iron app or whatever is checking for that particular fuse and seeing it tripped, it won't work.
Hmm, that was a long sentence, but I hope it makes sense. :p
You could check the fuse by booting into download mode and checking the 0x0, or 0x1 bit.? @KOLIO --verify??

Yes Sir,that is correct.
You'll see the fine print in the upper L/H Corner.
If it's been rooted,it will be there, whether it's been restored to stock will not remove the KNOX 0x1 (on a never rooted device,it will read Knox 0x0).
