I tried to take a video, but the recorder wouldn't start. I clicked the red record button, heard the "ding dong" but it never started recording. Help?

This is the first time sliding the button to "video" and I took a test vid (all settings at default) and movie recorded just fine. Do you have the storage location set? If so, is there enough space to hold whatever size video that will be recorded (e.g. if you have 1080p recording set)?
