Help With Yahoo Mail LED Notification

Hello. I just got my X2 (coming from the Droid X), and am having a problem with getting Yahoo email notifications. I have the Yahoo Mail App installed, as I did on my X. When I get a new email, I get the vibrate and sound notification, but do not get the blinking purple LED like I got on my X. I get no LED notification at all. I have all the notifications checked in the Yahoo Mail app. Is there a setting somewhere else that I need to change to get the Purple LED notification? I really miss it! Thanks.
 
On my LG, the purple LED is controlled by the "sound" notification for each mail account on the Yahoo Mail app. Click "Accounts", "Options" and click each account to enable "sound". If I disable the sound, I lose the purple LED. If enable sound, I get the purple LED. Weird, it took me several tries to figure this out after the last update. That is the screwed up thing about Android. One OS which gets tweaked by a dozen manufacturers which each have about a dozen phones. You can never guarantee that an app will work the same way on different phones.
 
Thanks for the responses. Saywat?, where are the notification settings that you reference? I don't have any under display.

Thanks funpig. I checked and the sound is enabled on mine.

Still no purple LED :mad:

I know this is kind of an old thread. But I wanted to get rid of that purple blinking light notification every time the mail arrived in yahoo.
Your suggestion finally helped me to stop that from notifying me.
