Hi Guys,

Sorry if this has been covered before. I have got the HTC Desire Hd and my battery life is pants on it, Where I've checked what is using the batterys its like 50% Android OS. As you can probably tell I'm not the most tech savvy person and i would need a dumbed down version!! So was just wondering if any of you guys could help me with how i can make this use less battery??

download System Panel and Spare Parts. System panel will tell you how much cpu time each app is using. In spare parts, go to battery history, then hit partial wake usage. this will let you know what apps are running when your phone should be asleep.

Also check your sync settings, in menu-settings-accounts and sync. make sure anything you dont need isnt syncing.
