Root Help!

Okay so. i tried flashing the latest cyogenmod for optimus and got stuck on the boot screen decided to boot back to the sense rom and now im stuck at the lg logo. anyone want to help a friend in need???!!!!

Okay so heres the ststat
previous Rom: sense rom
attempted rom: gingerbread cyogen mod seven

issues: i reinstalled the sense rom and the phone wont boot past the lg logo when turned on. Will take any help. Might just restore completly and unroot phone then reroot phone and then attempt reinstalling the rom. :/

Have you tried booting into the recovery console from power off? Take the battery out, put it back in, hold home/vol.down/power keys until recovery boots up. Then simply restore your nandroid backup and you should be good to go.

If you can't do the above steps then your best bet may be to reset your phone to like-new status, then re-do everything. Follow the steps here. Good luck.

*always do regular nandroid backups, especially before flashing new roms.

okay so i fixed it now whenever i install a rom im stuck in a boot loop. i need help!

So you can get into custom recovery? If you recently installed the new OC kernel done by reppard, you are one of the (un)lucky ones that have this boot loop problem. If you fall into this category, follow the OC kernel thread here. If the OC doesn't apply to you, then you somehow messed with the innards of your phone and it doesn't like you at the moment. I'd first try to re-download a custom rom and try to install that. Maybe your copy got corrupted somehow. If this doesn't work, then I would bite the bullet and get my phone back to it's out-of-box glory, then re-root and all that jazz. That's what I would do anyway; best of luck.
