amlothi Android Expert Jun 13, 2011 #3 I'm not sure he is trying to steal apps. It sounds like an honest question to me. You need a gmail account to use the Android Market. There are also alternative markets you can use though. Amazon has one. Some of the others I'm not sure how trustworthy they are.
