So I got the new HTC One S about two weeks ago and its my first android phone, everything was working fine but up until 3 days ago, my internet has been going really slow to the point that it says I don't have connection when I should. I thought I had too much data usage so I reseted my whole phone but the internet still seems to go slow... Anybody have an idea what it could be :(
Thank you! And sorry for being such a noob, lol.:confused:

Could be where you are located at, you be bad towers in the area, have to tried updating your PRL ?? I would also call the carrier and see if there are tower issues in your area

You may also want to post in your device section and see what others with the same phone have to say, HTC One S

You probably went over your data limit and are being throttled. If so, your internet speeds will return to normal when your next billing cycle comes around.

I've been thinking that it might have something to do with T-Mobile, I'm going to have to call. I'm so new at this that I don't know what PRL is but I will look into it, thank you! And I thought it could have been I went over but that's why I reseted my phone to clear the data but not really any difference! D;

Resetting your phone won't reset your data usage with the carrier, but I would still post in your device section and you will get more feedback there

Not sure about your carrier, but Bell Canada has an app that allows you to see how much usage you used this billing period. This information is also available on the Bell website. Check to see if your carrier also has an app or web page that displays this information. That way, you can check if you are being throttled due to going over your limit.

2 weeks with first smartphone... On tmobile..
You must be enjoying the speed and data..
Playing and surfing...

Yeah.. There is a 2Gb ceiling on your unlimited data.. It slows to a crawl... Till your next month.. When the tmobile resets the clock. Lol

Try to use wifi as much as possible..it does not count towards the 2Gb
