hi there I'm kinda new to this whole "android OS" world so have some patience with me lol... I just got an LG thrill and I want to root it (I know that's a FAQ). I have spent hours trying every method on the web for rooting without using a computer and nothing is working. I have considered downgrading back to froyo from GB but I cannot download anything on these public computers as they do not allow dl's and I am new to this city so I do not have a "friend's" place I can go to and use a computer. So is it possible to downgrade without access to a computer or am I officially at a dead end? I have been trying to root for a few weeks now so if anyone has any ideas please let me know asap so I can end this painful process!

I am not a rooter, so I can offer little in the way of advice on rooting, but what I do know is that you have come to the right place to get help.
