can anyone help me.
I rooted my samsung Galaxy s2 today for icecream sandwich, but my phone was running on gingerbread.
how do i get my phone back...

Hi Johnny, and welcome to AF,

I'm not sure what your problem is. Rooting by itself just gives you admin access to the phone. If you wish to change ROM that's a separate step. Is the phone working currently?

Root issues are generally phone specific. Unfortunately there are many SGS2 variants. If you can tell us which one you have we'll move your thread to the relevant forum to get the best expert advice.

Edit: Often just knowing what network you are on is enough for us to identify the variant.

Did you root specifically to put an ICS rom on your phone or did you simply want to get the stock update? You didn't need to root for that.
