HELP

I am very happy with my new samsung galaxy s3 however recently I have been experiencing problems when view TV using filmon application. When I first installed the application I could watch and record tv programs without any problems, however recently around 15 minutes into watching a program the screen freezes, I can only hear the voice then eventually that too cuts out. I then need to close the program and restart it. any ideas on what the problem could be. The same problem occurs when I try to watch recorded programs. The application I am using is free.
