Help help!!!

Hey guys, so basically done a software update to my sg3, and now the phone turns on but, it wont let me acess any programs and none of the widgets or anything load, tried restarting it numerous times, any advice on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.

When the phone turns on, does it go to the home screen like normal? Is the screen responsive?

Yeah it goes to the home screen like normal, it's just that nothing is responsive.

So the touchscreen doesn't react at all when you touch it?

Reset via recovery. This is what its for

• Turn off the phone
• Hold Volume up and Home
• Whilst holding, now press power (phone boots into recovery)
• Using volume up and down to navigate and power to select, select "Wipe Data / Factory Reset"

You WILL LOSE all your DATA including PHOTOS ON INTERNAL MEMORY

I completely forgot about this. Should have been the first thing I told him to do after he said that he couldn't open settings.
