I REALLY NEED HELP:(I WAS TRYING TO DO THE APPS TO SD THING AND 8I COPIED AND PASTED THE 2 LINES IN THE BUILD PROP AND I REBOOTED AND EVERYTHING WAS GOING WELL UNTIL AFTER THE LG LOGO POPED UP AFTER IT FINISHED IT D8IDN'T EVEN BOOT UP ALL THE WAY BEFOR THE SCREEN WENT BLACK AND I DOESN'T PASS IT IT JUST STAYS THERE I PULLED THE BATTERY OUT AND SAME THING AFTER THE LG SCREEN IT JUST TAKES ME TO A BLAK SCREEN:(CAN SOMEONE HELP:(:(:(:(:(:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
 
I know what happened. You didn't fix the permissions/properties of build.prop and that is needed to boot the device. If you don't have an unlocked boot loader then your device is bricked. Maybe if you had CWM you could flash a fresh build.prop file.
 
yes, please share how you fixed it. I'd have to say this thread you made really hit home to me as it could've been me. I had no idea what I was doing when I modified the build prop for apps 2 sd function and I thankfully got lucky and the edit worked. but if something happens I'd like to know what you did so I can do the same. Thank you.
