HELP!!!

I don't know where to put this Thread, I scrolled fast, but I really need help. My Sony Xperia J lost sound, would not play videos, would not play music, the camea wouldn't start up, and would not notify me of texts. I reset my phone and it has been stuck on the screen that says "Xperia" for a long time and the light is flashing blue. Is my phone taking ridiculously long to reset or?

First, calm down. (Deep breaths, Deep Breaths). What were you doing before this happened. Are you rooted? Stock Android?

I was just texting. My phone had lost sound and everything before hand, but was still notifying me of texts.

Pull and replace the battery and hold Power and menu while rebooting. Does it still occur?
