HELP!

I have been messing with my phone lately, installing ROMS to check them out and wiping & installing. All has been great up until now.
I wipe all data, cache, factory reset & dalvik cache
I install zip from sd card 'miui_nekenn6_abby_3.11.29_b43359d874_4.2-ml', I know this works as I have installed it before. The install seems to go perfectly & tells me its finished & i can reboot. I reboot and it just stays on the green android man at the start. I restart into recovery, mount sd card to pc and find that no files are in the internal storage. I have tried the process many times with the same result.
Why has it stopped unzipping the files from the .zip file to the internal storage & what can I do to solve this?

i have just mangaged to install a rom successfully
Neken_NX_S4_Deelie_131227
i dont know why but it has unzipped all the files on my external sd card and not the phone storage.
think maybe this is the problem with trying to install other roms, but it doesnt explain why i can install this one & no other that i have tried previously with success.
has someone got a fix for me?

I'm not familiar with your device, the Neken N6(?).

You mention you managed to install a rom, so all is good except for flashing the rom you really want correct?

Like I said, I'm not familiar with the device, but when you flash a rom, does it need to stay zipped up when flashing?

The roms have got to be zip for Cmw to recognize it

As i said before the rom that i am trying to flash back to a custom rom. I had no problems before but am now as it will say it is successfully installed but after reboot i find that there a no files to boot from.
With the current rom that i have it has installed the boot files on my sd card & im thinkng if that is the problem.
Also is there a tool to prepare or format the drive ready for android rom?

Are you wanting to format the external sd card?
Is it removable?

As of now, is your phone operational?

sorry if i havent been clear so far.let me tell you everything again...

i have been messing with my phone lately using CMW TOUCH to wipe my data then install rom from zip. everything was going great until now.
i want to install a rom (that i have installed before.so i know its compatible with my phone), i go through tge same procedure of wiping data then installing from zip.all goes the way it should with it telling me its installing from zip, after a while it tells me to reboot the phone. when i do all that happens is it stay on the green android bot for 1 min then reboots. i went into CMW TOUCH to connect phone to pc & found out that it installed nothing, nothing on the phone storage and on the sd card except the custom rom.
i have tried this with few other roms all with the same results.

NOW...

ive managed to find a rom that will install so it is functional all except recently after a reboot it has stopped detecting the sim, weird.
i connected the phone to my pc to find that all boot files are stored on the sd card not phone storage like it used to.

i had an idea that i will try later today and that is to move the custom rom over to the phone storage from the sd card. remove the sd card during install. maybe that will force the install to use the phone storage for the boot files
will let you know the outcome

i have just tried to install the rom with the sdcard removed from phone & the same thing happened. even though during the installation it tells me that it is formatting system then installing it installs nothing to the phone storage.

Have you tried reinstalling CWM recovery? Because that could be screwed-up or something. It shouldn't be trying to install a ROM onto an external SD, that won't work.
